The Chronicles of Narnia - A must watch

Hey guys! How's school so far? I hope everything's been fine yah? Well, today, I met up with Andy, Aaron, Ivy, Samuel, Ben, and Ken. By the way, my job hunting is going ok, for those who want to know.

We had to get Andy's new specs done today so that was most important. Went to Optics 2000 to get an Oakley pair with him. And here's the Pic of the Day.

Cool dude aye? And these cost a bomb. Wanna know how much? Go ask him. And don't puke when you find out.. Lolx. The sad thing was.. We took like an hour to get these - Half for choosing it, and the other half for getting his degree taken. (the lady said he couldn't drive without specs. But hey, we all know Andy aye? Hasn't he been surviving without them? Lolx)

Oh yes. And is this a universal pose or something? (actually, I asked Sam to pose it.. Lolx)

After this, the lady said we could come back in 15 minutes to get them. So we went up to Food Republic for some makan. Aaron, Ivy, and I had Beef Noodles (delicious), while Sam and Andy had Hokkien Mee (long queue).

And Ivy looks so photogenic right?

After collecting his specs and 'bending' them, we went to Lido to try for tickets for the 7.45 slot. Ben, Ken, Aaron, Andy, and we actually managed to get Ivy to watch it a second time. Psychology or Psycho-logy.

Chronicles of Narnia is a must watch. I repeat. It's a must watch.

It's the story about 4 kids who happened to chance upon a Wardrobe that leads to a winter-city called Narnia. An Evil White Witch has put a 100-year curse of winter on this land, and Christmas has never since been celebrated. After the 100-year curse, The Lion returns to free this land, and the 4 kids are thrown into a whole new world and mission. The relevance of this show to the Life of Christ is uncanny.

For those you don't know about how good this show is. Let's just say this. You find no problems watching Harry Potter right? So, you won't have any problems watching this either. CS Lewis is an amazing writer, think I might just start reading his books.

I can't say too much. But, remember to go catch it. While Stocks Last!

Jadis, the Evil White Witch

Aslan, The Lion

And probably the best line in the whole show was this.

"I present to you, King Peter, The Magnificent!" says Aslan.

Yes, Yes, I Know, I Know. I am a King. Lolx. Too bad no one in our youth group is named Edmund, Susan, or Lucy. Otherwise, you'll either be a King or Queen. Lolx.

But as I said, you have to watch it.

And I really hope you guys are having a good time in school. Remember to seek God everyday, and to do your Quiet Time. I win, You win, the devil cannot win.

God Bless!
