Night Riding

Yo guys wassup! Just came home, bathed and sat down to start blogging. What a day it's been. In a few minutes' time, it's Friday! The weekend awaits!

This evening, me and Isaac made an arrangement for Night Riding. Who knows what night riding is? It means you go riding in the night! wakaka. Oh yes, this is the Pic of the Day!















Congee! A food from Heaven.

I'm mad and hyper.

Well, Isaac initially arranged to meet me at 7 under my block, but he called me at 7.30 to tell me he was just leaving his house. Apparently, a fellow church member in Lighthouse was having his house painted in the same condo's as Isaac's and needed to leave their dog in Isaac's house for 'awhile'.

Well, Ewok (Isaac's dog), who is a male, had his hormones raging, when Sexy Melody came into the house. Yes, the other dog was a female. Not having seen a female for like 3 years, the courtship ritual began. Isaac apparently had to clear up the pheromonic substance on the floor, also known as pee.

You see. When dogs have a liking to the opposite gender, they piss as a mark of territory. Wow, I didn't know Ewok could be so possessive. (wonder what life would be like if humans were like that too.. ponder ponder ponder..)

Anyways, by 8pm Isaac arrived and I took my bike and bag and proceeded down to meet him.

It is raining. What a bummer.

And so we had no choice but to wait. Wait for the rain to stop. And while waiting, Aunty Kath came down to go over to Jeremy's house, and 5 min later we saw my mom in her fitness attire after a good workout at the Sports Hall. And less than 2 minutes later my Sister came. Wow, family gathering ah? Anyway after they went home, it was still drizzling.

8.30. The rain stopped and we could finally leave my void deck! Oh yes, here are the 2 coolest bikes in Singapore!

Isaac's (Brand: Giant, worth: $890)















Peter's (Brand: Peugeot, worth:$400)















Whoa, Peter owns a Peugeot leh. No joke man! Yes, in case if you don't already know. The same car brand produces bikes too. This is from my future-Dad's friend who wanted to give away his Peugeot, and I happened to get it! Woohoo!

And so we got on our way. Probably the most difficult of all rides, this time my bike had to give me so much trouble. And only one person will understand how bad my bike can be at times. Eq. Cos he rode my bike before and it almost had him lose his footing. So, midway, Isaac had to help me 'configure' the gear system while I had a most difficult job to do.. Take photos.















Doesn't the road seem flat?

No it wasn't.

In fact, I had a horrible time climbing those slopes that we impossible to attempt with my bike. Isaac's one is a Giant ma, of course can attempt anything.. Ride in the ocean also can!

We took one hour to get to Chomp Chomp Food Center. If you guys don't already know, you can get there via Serangoon Garden Way. The food there is fabulous! Hokkien Mee, Char Kway Teow, Oyster Omelette, Congee, Sambal Stingray.. And the list goes on.















And the Pic of the Day is from here too! Congee Congee Congee.. And best, Isaac told me the Aunty's Daughter is very pretty! So cool right! And then he had to drop a bomb-shell on me.

Isaac: But I think you won't be interested in a booch right?

So sad la! Haiz. Why oh why.. Let's help her turn straight. Ah.. stray thought stray thought..

It was a superb Dinner/Supper. Our conversations ranged from hotels, to restaurants, girls, to DotA, marriage, to heaven.. 1 hour of catching up and crapping till the cows came home. But it was good. Remember what Pastor Chris Long said? Sharing with your friends and let them help you along.

10 pm. It's getting late. Had to make our way home. Just the sheer thought of having to climb up slopes and past those obstacles weren't giving me motivation. I was so so so tempted to leave my bike behind and just, yes.. Take a Cab..

But would Isaac agree to leave his Giant and my Peugeot behind? Of course not! And so me made our way after suffering from inconsiderate smokers in silence.

You can be pretty but if you smoke, you aren't anymore lady..

Woo! And we passed by what resembled like Christmas in Orchard one month ago. Pls la.. Hougang people don't know how to decorate for Chinese New Year ah? Can do better anot? Looks like Christmas la!















Yes, and Isaac could actually find time to pose. Ya la, very handsome la. (sorry.. he's booked.)

And so we got back to my void-deck at 10.40pm. I can't believe I did 2 and half hours of exercise today. Next time, want go Chomp Chomp? Can.. Take bus.. no more biking.. So crazily far man..















That ended our night riding. Kinda tired now but still decided to show the world of what night riding is, and the fufillment you get from it.

The breeze blowing in you hair. The wonderful sound of cars zooming past you. Ahh, what could compare..

*splat* "Aiyah! Birdshit in my eye!"
