2nd Post Today

Yay, I met my friend whom I haven't seen in 1 year. It's been such a long time! And amazingly, I am posting 2 times today. I can't believe what a day it's been. So here's what happened today.

I arranged to meet my friend at 4pm, Bedok Interchange. Thinking I would be late, I took a cab down, and managed to get there by 4.10pm. However, she called to say she would be a 'little' late. So I waited. And waited.

BUT!

The wait was worth it. Here are some things that can somehow happen to you when you are waiting for people.

1. I saw Aunty Emily and Gloria. They were apparently at the interchange because Gloria was sick and Aunty Emily brought her to the doctor's.

2. I saw a really, really pretty gal. I was so tempted to grab her number. She was wearing an all-green uniform. Anyone can tell me the school? As I thought about it, I realised she actually resembled Vanessa, my sister's classmate, whom my sis is trying to bridge..

3. I saw a trans. If you don't know what that is, go check it out with your friends. It was just weird. Simply weird. Goodness.

And weird stuff just happen when you're bored. Waiting is a boring game. Let's not play the game anymore ok? Let's all learn to be punctual. Myself included.

And so my friend finally came. But she didn't seem like in a good mood. So when asked, she told were she was very tired. Bummer.. Now, don't we know what happens when gals are in a tired state..

But she still got entertained by me! Haha. I'm such a crapper. We took bus 222 to Blk 85, Bedok North Str 4 for their famous 'Ba Chor Mee' and Congee! I know you guys must think I'm mad.. But she was the one who wanted it, not me. I was planning on Ba Chor Mee. She said her craving for Congee happened when I started blogging about it. Whoa, I am of some influence aye?

And so we arrived. And she told me it only opens at 5, so we took a walk around and noticed all the good stalls were still closed. So we sat down at table no. B17 and started talking. But knowing me, I started taking out my camera to try taking photos. Well.. I couldn't get much considering she was covering her face three-quarters of the time..




















And refusing to let me take one good photo of her, I gave her my camera to shoot me! And she did quite a good job considering she doesn't want to take photos..















And as I am typing this post, she is telling me to rush it. Yes I am.. I am doing it fast so she can see what kinda pictures I'm gonna put up.

And while I went to get our food, she took my camera and got random shots. This was one of them..















Alas! I got a picture of her. I think she didn't know I took this. But too bad Gina, you're on my blog today. You've been wanting it, haven't ya?




















And another. This time she's dignified.















Oh.. And it was so weird when she got the drinks. She was like..

"Peter, you want the pink straw or the blue straw?"

And before I could answer,

Gina: I feel blue today.. So you take pink!

Ok.. So I am pink today.. Haha. Gina's weird..

And as we couldn't wait for my Ba Chor Mee, I decided on Congee with her. Same old me, and she had Pork Congee. But while waiting, we had Carrot Cake. So these were all the food we had!





























I would rate the congee here 2nd place, with the one at Killiney taking first place. Very good amount of 'liao', and generous amounts of century egg. Simply heavenly.

And as we were chatting about random stuff, Isaac called. He asked if I wanted to meet him and Claire at Orchard. I was kinda ending dinner with Gina so I figured I would meet them. We decided to meet at 7.45pm, Orchard MRT.

After a huge amount of catching up, Gina started getting quirky. She started doing funny things. It was so, er, her. Lolx. Gina's just so bubbly all the time.

Oh yea, and during dinner, James called.

Gina: Hi dear. *chat chat chat*

And then, out of the blue..

Gina: Yea, he(Peter) misses you. *continues chatting and giggles*

So I asked her what she giggled about. She said James missed me too! Wahahaha, I have someone missing me too! We'll meet up soon James. I promise.

And so Gina persuaded me to take public instead of cab. I listened, and the ride to the Bedok MRT was bad. Imagine a girl who's hitting, and pinching you. The reason? To wake herself up. =.='''

But I enjoyed the meeting, it was God-driven. Thanks for the wonderful evening Gina. Appreciate it. I hope the next time we meet you won't be so worn out ok? Keep smiling!

And so I was off to Orchard!


Meeting with Isaac and Claire

Remember I said the arranged time was 7.45pm? They were late by a 'little'. Anyway, I waited and saw so many policemen in the station. I thought there was a bomb scare or something. But I found out it was the Chingay Celebrations tonight! No wonder la..

And when we met, they decided on Shinlin @ Cine. So we headed to CineLeisure for dinner. (yes 2nd for me..) But when we got out of Ngee Ann City, my goodness! It was so packed! How were we ever going to get to Cine?!?!

Well, we somehow managed to get there, safe and sound. The good thing was, since everyone was watching the celebrations, the malls would prolly be emptier. Thankfully we were right.

So we got to Shinlin, which was located at B1. I had their famous Oyster Mee Sua, while Isaac and Claire had the Crispy Chicken. The homemade Mee Sua was worth every bit of my $3.















Too bad I didn't take pictures of all the other food. But, I didn't fail to take more photos of Isaac and Claire!







































And Claire also took one photo of me. Thanks for the compliment Claire, I appreciate it. You look great too. And please, you're not fat, at all.















And we ended dinner at 9pm. Guess what a crazy suggestion I made. I suggested a movie! And when I said 'I Not Stupid 2', Claire's eyes lit up. Ok, I take that as a yes then. Kor Kor.. It's 2 to 1, we're watching 'I Not Stupid 2'!












It was a good show, or at least to me. Very emotional. They copied everything I said in my post for the special people in my life.

Remember I asked when was the last time I said 'I Love You'?

Yea, it came out in the movie. But one thing that really stirred me, was these questions.

When was the last time someone praised you?

and

When was the last time you praised someone?

Simple stuff but those mean alot to the people around you. Like I said, we all need to continue blessing each other and encouraging our fellow brothers and sisters, don't wait till tomorrow.

Wow, what a long post it has been. Took a cab home with Isaac, and was a long time since I sent Claire home. Tan Tock Seng Hospital is still the same, and it really brought back memories. Painful ones.

Ok, I better go sleep now. Got a long day tomorrow. Got to go to church for auditions, and later in the night have to bake. Love ya guys! Will see ya guys tomorrow ya?
