Jamming in Church
So, the one thing I looked forward to today was jamming with the youths in Church. Was scheduled at 7pm, and was practically chatting the whole afternoon away.
Cheryl asked to meet earlier for dinner, together with Andy, and since I didn't have dinner at home tonight, I figured it would be good to get out of my house earlier to meet them for dinner.
I was late by 5 minutes from the the meeting time, which was 6.15pm. But the funny thing was that I only saw Jerome there. Quite a weird sight considering I was expecting only Cheryl and Andy. And I didn't know what I was saying when I asked Jerome,
Me: Hey.
Jerome: Yo Peter.
Me: What are you doing here?
What was I thinking? Of course he was waiting for us and coming for jamming la. And to add it all, he was carrying a guitar. Honestly, I thought it was coincidence that I met him at Aljunied MRT. What a dork..
So we went for dinner. A choice between Sliced Fish BeeHoon or Tim Sum place. We chose the latter.
While there, I took a really stupid picture.

=.= What is that Andy? Is it some new craze?
And I had Congee!!

Ok, this is the best congee I've had in my entire life. You guys know how much congee I've tasted right? Well.. This beats all of the rest, even the one at Killiney. It was so full of flavour. And guess what? The lady/gal who prepares it is probably just over her teens. It wasn't an aunty!! What are the chances of that?
We were supposed to be in church by 7pm right? We were late by about 10 minutes, and I was wondering why there was an angel standing outside our church. My goodness, it was Aaron in his full white uniform and black hair. I could hardly belive what I saw.

He came straight from Paradiz after collecting his results. But I was quite surprised he dyed his hair back to black just to take his results. (I'm going to sidetrack a bit)
It seems today is the most important day for a few of the youths. Today is the day they receive their 'O' level results. I found out that a lot of our youths got enough to go where they wanted. And it was so weird to know Ken was, yet again, short of one mark. But I'll be praying that the appeal will be successful.
Ok, back to jamming. Joram and Pam were late, and while we were waiting for them, I played a beautiful piece on the keyboard. They were all moved to tears by my music. Anybody want to guess what I played?
And yet again. Fall in love with my eyes.

Hi, I am Sayuri's brother. I love my eyes. I managed to find grey, and they actually got it looking blue at certain angles. Perfecto.
Jamming was great. We started with worshipping then prayer. I felt it was a really good way to get into the heart of worship. Had a great time practising the songs and doing them well. Had a great time of experimenting and working out different styles together. In all, I felt it was a jamming session to remember.
Oh yes, Andy wanted to try out a new trick on us. So, if it happened to work out, we could try it on our other friends. Apparently, his mind was too 'powerful' to be maneuvered.
The Teacher

The Experiment

Well, after these 'experiments', we decided for supper. Just a 2 minutes walk away, we had the famous Hokkien Mee, cooked over charcoal. Andy, Cheryl, and Jerome went to get the famous Rochor Beancurd for us. Fabulous supper man. And I packed one for my sister, who was probably starving at home. She forgot there was no dinner at home tonight.
Oh yes, and the funny things Cheryl did.
Pray to some Goddess that Pam created

Roll a smeared coin down her face (leaving a mark)

Oh yes, and Joram did a cute pose for me.

I think he's practising for some special day next week aye? I mean, why else would you want to be cute?
Joram: Cos Peter asked me to.
Me: Shush.
Took a cab back from there, with Jerome, Cheryl, and Pam. Had a fast trip home. And the best part was that I think everyone just needed to foot $3. I think we might just make it a habit if there are enough people to take cab home everytime.
Great night tonight. Had a wonderful time. Will be going to church tomorrow for Drama Practise, and we're going to be auditioned for our voices. Hope to have a great time tomorrow too. More photos, more smiles.
God Bless!
