Planning for the Future
Talk about planning for the future, I honestly felt like I was getting ready for my wedding of the century. I couldn't believe I almost got talked into buying my 'wedding package' this evening.
Well, before that. I arranged to meet Claire and Isaac at Serangoon MRT at 3.30pm, and I just had to be late by 5 minutes. Sorry guys. Well, we made our way to Dhoby Ghaut, and almost missed the stop again. Talk about deja vu.
Then, we changed to the North-South Line and went to City Hall. Anyone would like to guess where was our take for dinner? Carl's Junior. Talk about deja vu. Lolx.
While there, I had the Fish burger, which was truly like what Ben said. A piece of crispy fried fish (similar to those you have for fish and chips), of really good quality, sandwiched between 2 grilled buns, with lettuce, tomatoes, and tartar sauce. Heavenly. I changed the fries to the acclaimed Beef Chilli Cheese Fries. And this time, my meal only cost $9.90, a huge difference from the first time I ate.
Claire and Isaac both had double Portobello Mushroom burgers. Needless to say, they collapsed after the meal. And they, too, changed their fries to the Beef Chilli Cheese Fries. And because my meal came a little later than them. I decided to -
You got it. I snapped, snapped, snapped.
Isaac and Claire (same seats as the previous time we came)

They look so photogenic right? And you guys probably are wondering where am I. Don't worry, I got Isaac and Claire to take nice photos of me. Just fall in love with my eyes.

And so, we spent so much time at Carl's Junior, the main talk was about their relationship. I wanted to get to know both sides on how they came to know each other. Was it Isaac who liked Claire first? Or Claire who fell for Isaac? Interested to know more? Please dial 819004** for more details, Isaac will most probably entertain you.
Moving on from where we were, we decided to get the ring for Claire from Citigems. Talk about upscale jewellery. The ring would be Isaac's gift to Claire to celebrate their 3rd year together. *Aww* Yes, it's been a cool 3 years, and I've seen them blow hot and cold at each other. But what matters is, they're still very much in love. (I think they must be crying so hard that I'm writing this)
Passing by the largest fountain in the world

We decided to check out Marina Square for Citigems, so we had to cut through Atrium. And because I drank so much at Carl's, I needed the washroom. Claire needed it as well. So I went in and took a leak, and when I got out, Claire wasn't out yet. As we were about to leave after Claire came out, we chanced upon a florist, and I thought it would be nice if we checked out the price of the roses now.
But then suddenly!
The florist took out a beautiful rose and handed it to Isaac. Within a split second, even before me and Claire could register what happened, Isaac handed the rose to Claire.
Isaac: This is for you.
Me: (in my heart..) *will you marry me? will you marry me?*
Wishful thinking Peter.. Haha. Even if they wanted to, now's not the right time. Yes, I know I know. I tell you, this is the most primo, most magnificent rose I have ever seen in my entire life. I think it's so huge, you can't even count the number of petals it has.

Well, after so much 'surprises', we arrived at Marina Square looking for Citigems. And we spent about 2 hours there. Considering we never found Citigems, you would ask why we spent so much time there.
Simple. We were stopped in our tracks. By some photographer who works for Bliss Bridal Creations. He asked us in to take a look at their Wedding Package, and somehow Isaac had to agree. I knew, then, that we would be stuck for some time.
The lady was a very nice lady, a superb salesperson. She captivated us with the photos and even managed to persuade us into footing the down payment for our wedding packages. But the thing is, I don't think I would get married in the next 3 years aye?
The only thing that I really enjoyed was the lady's constant compliments, that just kept on inflating my ego. I have to say, I felt so good when she said what she said. She said she would even introduce her daughter to me.
*cold sweat*
I was blushing so badly Claire couldn't hold back her laughter. She was practically ROFL - Rolls On Floor Laughing - kind of laugh. Goodness.
We somehow managed to escape Bliss Bridal Creations after 1 hour? Or somewhere around there. I have to tell you, the package is really good, those of you planning for your weddings could go check it out. If I had the means to, I would purchase it. Just imagine.
- 5 years later -
Me: I think we should settle down and get married.
Miss Congee: Yea, I agree.
Me: Will you marry me?
Miss Congee: Yes, Yes I will!
Miss Congee: What about the wedding preparations?
Me: I got it all worked out 5 years ago.
I then take out the receipt from Bliss Bridal Creations and tell her I have already paid for our wedding package. She would have all these things ready after we registered our marriage. And the bond lasts 10 years.
Miss Congee: I can't believe this. You planned even before we met!
She then breaks down in tears, touched at what I've done.
- back to reality -
Oh what crap. I can't believe I even went there. But I truly believe my girlfriend/wife would be touched to know I planned our wedding even before we met. How many guys will do that? Foolish, but really thoughtful.
Well, enough about our 'stopover'. I was so glad I could breathe again after we left that place. Proceeded to City Link because Marina Square didn't have Citigems. It was a pleasant surprise we actually found Citigems in City Link. Claire was thrilled.
We spent a further 30 minutes there. She chose her ring and decided to have it altered to a size 8. Yes, size 8. And I thought only one girl in my life could fit that size. Claire, you are NOT fat. Please. If you were, you'ld be wearing size 16.
And the good thing about Citigems is that when you buy an expensive item, mind you the ring was not cheap, you would get a membership card and vouchers for your next purchase. Isn't it great to know that it was money well spent?

Well, finally got home after a long night out, and had a lot of problems loading the pictures up. Blogger is giving me a headache. But I guess it just goes to show that more and more people like Blogger.
Well, tomorrow is going to be a busy day I guess. Have to get my rest.
God Bless!
