Marina Square and Esplanade
The very busy Mr. Isaac Tan finally decided to meet me today. It took me probably 10 years to get him out for a simple dinner. Such is the life of millionaire, one who has so many functions to attend, friends have no choice but to take 10th place. Woe to me for having such opulent people in my life.
Isaac: Peter Chew..
Ok ok. The above mentioned are all false. Bleah. But it really has been some time since I last met Isaac, you have to agree with me on that. Both of us have been so busy. So, I insisted on meeting him today after his interview at Novena. Was scheduled to meet him at 6, but later realised I could meet him at 4.45pm. And he reached City Hall at 4.15. So, I basically made him wait 30 minutes.
I decided to treat him for dinner. And yes, you guys must think I'm super cheapo to treat him to such stuff, but I really had a craving for it.

Long John's!! Don't be deceived now. The chicken is so puny I had to zoom 10x to see it clearly. Ok ok, another exaggeration there. But I am really disappointed with their standard now. The price increases but the size decreases. No logic there..
And Isaac later admitted he would much rather have the Fish Combo, but decided on chicken because he knew I was treating. What is wrong with Singaporeans?!?! When it comes to the best deal, everyone rushes for it. But when people offer a treat, everyone acts in humility and puts on a mask. Listen up, you people of the world!! It's not everyday Peters treats ok?!?! So, if I do treat you, make sure you order what you want ok?!
*pant pant*
Oh yea, someone finally has more wisdom now. Wisdom tooth is out for Mr. Isaac Tan!! One is out, another protruding, the other 2 still not visible. So, he went to the dentist to check out the pain, and it was due to his nerves on his molar. He apparently had the same symptoms as Jerome and Ben. See la, never take care somemore..
And he had a great haircut today. Not from ABC Barbers Inc., but from SuperCuts! Talk about extravagance on haircuts man, this haircut was well worth the price.

Kawaii right?!?! Ok, I know I've been sounding really japanese the last few weeks. But it's not my fault ok? Blame Miss Claire, who's watched all 165 episodes of Inuyasha in a month, and can remember almost all the dialogues. Tsk, she just had to pass on this influence to me..
We walked quite a bit after dinner, and I found so many similarities from my conversations with Isaac and those with Jerald and Jerome.
Let's see. If a car was turning and we were taking our time to cross the road, this would be what they would say,
Jerome: Beg me la, beg me..
Isaac: Bang me la, bang me..
And if we ate too much sugary stuff in one day, this would be what they would say about their pee,
Jerald: I ate so much sugar, the cubicle will surely attract ants.
Isaac: Whoa, tonight alot of ants will visit my toilet.
Lol. These words practically brought so much laughter to me today.
And then we walked all the way from Marina Square to Esplanade; to enjoy the night sky. And it just happened they had a beautiful display outside.
The Band of Musicians

Peter and The One

Just kidding. She may not play the piano, I will love her just as much. She may not cook congee, I'll love her more. She may not have a dimple, I will still love her the most.
I hear people puking.. Zzz..
The Drummer

And there were movable balls floating around too. Don't know their purpose in this world, but they seem to add colour and 'life' to this world. Couldn't resist taking a photo of these..

And Isaac..
Though wiser, still so act dao in photos

Smile more la. I notice something. The people who love taking pictures and letting these pictures be placed on an open space (like here), are those that give the weirdest expressions when I want them to take a photo. The irony man.
So, we decided to take the bus home for a change. Took 70 all the way home from Esplanade to Hougang. And because the bus took so long, I dared him to do stupid stuff. For example, waving to the bus uncles as though to say hi. Isaac couldn't take it. He nearly wanted to disown this friend. Lolx. And the moon is so huge tonight I thought it was a huge balloon floating above Marina Square.
And on the bus, we listened to mp3s together. So buddy buddy right?!?! He was playing the beats as though on the drums and I was lip-singing. I think the passengers must have felt we were perculiar.
I was glad I met this guy today. It's so essential to be around people who lift you up, and not put you down. It's not about inflation of egos here, it's about encouraging your brother and making him feel so special, because that's how God sees us ya?
So, will be meeting Ben, EQ, and Jerome tomorrow, for a movie. Not the best choice, I would rather Date Movie, but I think they're underaged. What a bummer. The trailer was so knock-your-socks-off hilarious man.
Alright people, have a good one!
God Bless!
