Beauty To A Girl

I never really bothered what gals did to beautify themselves. Or at least not until today. Girls love to be complimented, they want to look good. And they take steps to make that happen. Unlike us guys, who may only need to put some gel and spray some cologne, girls do spend cash just to make themselves feel better, and exude great confidence after.

So, for the first time in my life, I sat in a manicure and eye-brow plucking session. I never planned to sit in - unless with my girlfriend. But since Gina really wanted to get herself all ready for internship commencing on monday, I decided to tag along and discover what girls actually do to beautify themselves.

But a shop caught my eye. It was part of the name of our youth group! I couldn't believe my eyes, but guess there are others who think the word Dunamis rocks.

It's amazing what manicure does to a girl. Almost immediately, I saw a sense of satisfaction from Gina that was so undeniable. There was something different about her after the session. If you guys are wondering how come I could actually sit in a whole hour just for Gina to get beautified, there was actually this girl in blue who was getting a manicure as well. Man, I was so tempted to get her name. Lolx.

The Happy Hands

Look how well done up they were. I was impressed with the staff attending to her. She was trained in what she did, caring so well for that pair of hands that belonged to Gina. I'm definitely bringing my girlfriend out in the future for manicures and pedicures.

We then went to Raffles Xchange to drop by and say hi to Isaac, who was working in TCC. And Gina wanted her hot chocolate from Spinelli bad. Sad to say, it was not the standard that she expected. So, it was a disappointment for her there.

And look how careful she is with her nails. Almost every movement made was so careful, it was almost impossible to have spoilt or chipped them.

After this, I proceeded to church for extra rehearsals with Wenfu. Pam, Andy, and Charlene were there too and we worked out our songs. Pam did a great job with a song, so don't blame me if I really get moved to tears on the actual day.

I'm going to play Hexic now. In case you guys don't know, there's a really great game on MSN called Hexic. Play it, and tell me if you can resist not getting hooked to it. It rocks. And I love the game so much!

Alright, meeting Jonathan Tan tomorrow to catch up with him. And after that, dinner with Isaac and Claire at the usual prata place. It is so flashback man, the exact same sequence happened 2 weeks back. Maybe we are living in the twilight zone. Lolx.

Take care guys and gals! God Bless!
