One Long Evening

So finally you guys get to see some pictures. The camera wasn't with me for about 3 days, and I felt so lost without it. And though it's not as good as the one that my mom has, contentment is the word.

Why did I put the title as such for today's post? Because yesterday was a very long evening for me. I had training class from 3.15pm to 6pm, and I wanted to surprise Isaac because I knew he would be in the same class as me. I was early, so I made myself comfortable and waited for him. And when he came, he actually didn't see me. What was that man. And when he finally did,

Isaac: Peter? What the heck are you doing here?
Me: Training la!
Isaac: Why never tell me? I should have checked the list.

Lolx. After 4 years of being in SHATEC, and now that we're working, it's actually the first time we attended a same class together. Felt really nice though, I mean, 2 best friends not having attended the same class before, and can boast about being in the same school and the same industry?

The training class was not very interesting, but I learnt alot. Learning about coffee is also another step in being a more cultured person. I may not like coffee, but I have to learn to appreciate it. It's the same with many things in life.

And the most amazing thing about the class was when me and Isaac actually picked the same when we were doing aroma 'smelling' and tasting.

Dry Aroma - Columbia Supremo
Wet Aroma - Royal Blend
Tasting - Italian Espresso

Lolx. We actually picked the same item thrice in a row. Amazing. He deemed it as a sign, and so did I. And during the whole 'savouring' time, we sat opposite each other, and he said,

Isaac: So it's me and the chef.
Me: Ya, enjoying the finer things in life.

After class was dismissed, which was 1 hour early (thank goodness because the speaker would have killed me), I had almost an hour and the half to meet Ken for X3. So, I went to Isaac's outlet (yes he still had work till 10), and got myself a sandwich. Thereafter, I met Ken to get tickets for the movie at Plaza Singapura.

PS was sold out of tickets. Gragh. So we then checked out The Cathay. And though we didn't get the best seats (3rd row from the front), contentment is the word. *chant chant*

Lol. Yea, I have to keep telling myself that not everything will go well for me in this life, so I have to learn to be contented. And watching the movie again made me understand alot more than when I first watched it. Morever, Ken paid $2 for my ticket, so I only had to pay $6. I still cannot find who is the stupid 'wave girl'. Gragh. *shouts* And while the credits were rolling,

Me: Ken, help me see who is that girl's mutant name.
Ken: It's Callisto, she passed already.
Me: Your head, she's not Callisto.
Ken: She is.
Me: She's not.
Ken: Yes la, passed already la.
Me: Shuddup..

And because I was disorientated, I missed it. *shouts* What on earth man. I watched twice and I missed her mutant name. Zzz. But in the credits, there was actually a mutant called Jubilee and another called Psylock. Could she be anyone of these? Gragh.

Nevermind. Forget about it. And the night didn't end there at 9.30pm. Or rather, it was the start of a very long evening. Lolx. Ben decided to come for LAN, and so me and Ken made our way to KFC for dinner. Ben said he would take 1 hour to come down.

And over dinner I came up with some stupid phrase for Ken. You guys probably already am hating him for being 45kg right? So this was what I said,

Me:

"Ken, you eat so much and you're so thin la. Just kill me man, I have no more reason to live in this world around people like you and Isaac. Eh wait. Maybe, you should be the one to die. The world wouldn't lose much anyway, just 45kg."

Cold sweat man. Why do some people like him exist to make me jealous. Lolx. wait wait. *chants* contentment is the word, contentment is the word. *chants*

Lolx.

And then Ben came and we played, yes, DotA. Can't believe the people in Bnet man, it's either they're really good, or they're really really really bad. To a point, we figured we would call it a night morning. It was 2am.

And Ben, being the nice guy that he always is, was going to drive me home. To all you gals out there, grab him now. Seriously. You won't regret knowing Ben, he drives (pun intended). And because Ken didn't want to go home yet, and Ben was hungry, this was where we went.

Isaac, so familiar hor?

I'm getting good with self-photos man.

Ah, what a good photo even though it's 3am. Lolx. I'm getting real good at this. And I'm so happy that Isaac and my Mom, both said I lost weight. Oh yea, even Claire too. Even more reason to live, not to beat Ken's 45kg, but to lose more weight. Lolx.

I sometimes can't tell 'em both apart

Tsk. Why are they so similar. Haircuts, height, mannerisms, specs, face etc etc. Cannot take it man. Got confused so many times while talking/walking with them. I want to see if both their children turn out the same. Lolx.

So, that finally ended a very nice evening/morning. Got home at 4am, bathed, and turned in. Initially wanted to blog, but because my eyes couldn't take it (do not be deceived by the above picture), I decided to sleep.

Ben is so nice to have driven me home. Thanks Ben, I really appreciate it. Ok, I'm off to meet Jon for lunch, and thereafter dinner with Pastor Heidi and the guys. What an interesting way to start the weekend!
