Vocal Lessons

Tonight was great! I had my first vocal lesson in my life! *screams* Can you believe it? 20 years, and finally I get some kind of coaching! It's so cool! And thank you Pastor, for not charging us for the course. Lolx. I love you!! *muacks*

Juwita is the malaysian idol coach, and she's here to coach us! Wow! She must think we have potential to be idols too! Wahahahaha! But nope, we're all doing this because we want to bless God's church. Amen?

She's FANtastic! She knows so much, and selflessly shared everything with us. And she kept my attention at all times, though Andy was continuously making weird remarks. *roll eyes*

So so happy, you know! I mean, this is something I've looked forward to my whole life. Vocal coaching! Man, I enjoyed every moment! And she made us split into 4 groups. Celebration service, Mandarin service, DRgals, and DRguys. Here are 2 of the 4.

And it was packed with cool techniques and skills. So fun to learn so much, and more to come tomorrow! Yes! I can't wait!

After the 3 hour course, we went for dinner/supper. Andy, Pam, and I had hokkien mee as usual and it was good! We waited nearly 15 minutes for a table, and amidst huge amounts of cooking smoke. And talking about that! Smoking is banned in al-fresco dines from now on! Woohoo! That means no more smelly coffee shops and al-fresco dining! 1st of July is such a great day for Singapore!

Lolx. I'm waiting for a smoke-free Singapore. Wonder if I'll live long enough to see that day come. Hmm. Anyway, on the way home, I took a bus with Pam. And then, I taught her how to make straw stars! And she quickly got the hang of it and was on her way for her first star!

Anyway, I have to go sleep now. I've got to wake up in 6 hours and I definitely want to give it my all for the next vocal class! Ganbatte everyone!
