Guess Where I Was Today

Yep.

I was that near church. Lolx. I was there to accompany a friend to collect some medicine from the clinic, and there I was, Sims Drive.

Of course I was thirsty and all, and needed something to drink. So, I was looking around for something to have when I remembered the bubble tea stall!

And the best part? The lady remembers me!

Lady Boss: You are the one who always come with the group of people right? (in mandarin)
Me: Yea.
Lady Boss: I haven't seen you for some time.
Me: Er..

Lolx. She actually remembers me and the gang that comes every sunday to get our dose of bubble tea. We chatted quite a bit and she told me to patronise her more often. Wahahaha, I'm a regular! On sundays that is. Lolx.

I caught John Tucker Must Die today, and I have to say, I've never laughed so hard in a movie for such a long time. It's hilarious I tell you. If you're having second thoughts about catching it, I would strongly advise you to go laugh your hearts out.

Did I mention Sophia Bush is so so so so so pretty? I was wondering where I knew her from. So familiar. You know.. Like Lana from Smallville? That's when it struck me! One Tree Hill!! Wahahaha, now I remember where those good looks hit me.

Gosh, I'm beat. I better get some rest. Looks like it's going to be a lazy next few days for me. I better plan some stuff before I die of boredom. Lolx. And yes, to all out there mugging away, GANBATTE!! Last lap people! You can do it, come on!

24 Days To Go

I know this sounds a little weird, but I am turning 20 in 24 days time. I will then be known to be not a teen anymore. Now then, what will I be known as then? Neither a teen nor an adult. The transition age? Lolx. This got me thinking quite abit.

Anyways, if anyone is even thinking of getting me a present, I only have one in mind that I really really want. It's a Griever pendant! You see the picture on the left? Yes, that one. I've been searching high and low for it for ages now but to no avail. *sobs*

Don't you all think that Griever is extremely handsome? There's something mysterious about this creature from the Final Fantasy series.

I know of 2 friends who got it, but they claimed that they bought it from overseas. Now, do you really think I would travel overseas just to get this pendant? Well, it's nice to have one, but I don't neccessarily need to have it right? (trying to psycho self..)

Being the ultimate guardian force in Final Fantasy, he is bounded to Squall, and is loyal to his owner. Goodness, if I had that pendant, I think I would go crazy over it. Lolx.

Now, coming back to my 20th birthday. I really need to plan a dinner for a selected group or something. Well, that's the beauty of earning your own pay - you get to treat whoever you want. Though it's only 20 and not yet 21, I still need to plan something right? After all, it's a step after teenagehood and before adulthood. An important year ahead I must say. Lolx. Hmm, and I think I should cook, have a small dinner together or something. Sounds good to me.

All this talk about birthday is getting me quite excited. I can't wait to see what will happen on the 20th. Less than a month away, feels like a day away. Oh yes, and then there's that burning question. Should I bake my own cake or leave it to someone else to purchase it? Oh well, I guess all these will be answered soon.

I'm going off! I guess I need to go back to blog surfing, and checking out videos on YouTube. Alright people, have a good remaining tuesday! God bless ya all!

Dunamis Rock's Blog - A Must Read

Ok, this is kind of like an advert for a blog that I used to write for. I lost the time to continue it, and I know that now many people are writing in on a very regular basis. This is good news! I dread the days that I check in and I see the post there for nearly 2 months untouched with new ones? And I think Jeslin was the only one updating it.

I don't know who has been posting those great photos, and updating on such a regular basis. But I just want to shout out a big good job! It's nice to check in everyday and find good things to read. And morever, it was nice to see pics from my previous posts appearing there. Pictures of Jerald and Ernest, and how the photos remind me of Gravija's. Lolx.

"I wonder why I ever stopped about Gravija's.."

So, in case you people don't already know the blog, click here!

Remember everyone needs encouragement. So, to all people in charge of the Dunamis blog, keep it up! Do it well, so more people will be blessed through this blog alright?

My Sis And I

Anyone has any idea how close me and my sis have gotten to be? It's quite scary actually, especially when people start saying we act very much like a couple. Lolx.

You know, facials are for gals. Well, I've always thought that way.

Till now.

My sis and I practically spent the whole day out together. From my interview, to Wisma for Food Republic, and then to Babara for my haircut! It seemed like we spent the day, yes, like the way a couple would.

We shopped, walked, and even ate the same item for lunch. We laugh at lame jokes, that we ourselves made up, and people must have thought we were madly in love or something. *roll eyes*

So, the highlight of the day was a facial. Yes, women swear on it. Good facials, at least once a week, to maintain your healthy glow in skin tone. It keeps your skin supple, tightening your pores to give your face a firm texture.

"Am I selling a product or what? I seem like I could go on forever about the benefits of having a facial.."

Right. So, I did my first facial with my sis at home today!! Now. Everyone can stop dropping your jaws alright? I don't think I'm the only guy doing it. *roll eyes* I believe Aunty Anna probably always give those great facial give-outs to Pastor to put on at home. Right, right? And I used a men's one, so don't start thinking if I used the strawberry-smelling one that my sister used. *glares*

here's me looking absolutely horrendous

Yes, that wonderful liquid dries up almost immediately when I put it on my skin. It makes my face so tight, I can't even move my mouth or eyebrows. It's mint! So that means it 'burns' when I apply it. I almost had to call 995 for help. Joking.. joking..

Although this photo was taken when the day started, my skin now is much tighter and firmer due to a wonderful facial! Lolx.

Go get yourself one now! *advert music starts*

I like this photo!!

Vanity is so not for me. I don't think I am willing to take such good care of my skin. I mean, yes, I should, but not to this extent right? *ponders*

Oh did I tell you people? After this post, I am up for putting Eye Masks to remove my eye bags, relieve my eye fatigue, and to remove puffiness and wrinkles around my eyes!

"Someone come and rescue Peter now.."

Interviews - One After Another

Woo! It is so fun to be head-hunted. A very big company is hiring good service staff for fine dining restaurants. A few weeks back, they came by CBJ to hunt for service staff. They had a private talk with me, and asked if I would be interested to join their company. We exchanged contacts and they called me back only after so long. Lolx.

I had a great interview yesterday! Sentosa management is so amiable. They make what's supposed to be an interview into a talk session about hobbies, and life in general. It was really fun, not at all intimidating. And the pay is good too! It's $5.80 an hour, $1.30 up from my pay at TCC.

Now, I just have to attend the interview for that huge company tomorrow noon, and see if they offer better. Wow! I've never felt better about shifting jobs. It's so different when people want you, and they will try to get you to join them. *smiles*

Ok, I'm off for dinner with my sis, and a visit to the doctor. I seriously need to get past this bad sore throat. *grumbles*

Tuesday, September 19, 2006

Oww

My throat hurts. Gragh. It's been almost 3 weeks of being sick, and I've just had enough. I mean, who ever gets sick for 3 weeks on medication?

I can't wait to get better, really. Waking up every morning to such a bad throat really spoils the mood for the day.

At least, I'm comforted to see my room looking good now. Lolx. And I was watching the 'Ellen' show on channel 5. She is good. Very excellent in speech presentation and humour. I think I've just gotten hooked on TV again. *roll eyes*

It's the finals of Singapore Idol, and I've just started knowing who Hady and Jonathan are. Lolx. It just goes to show how much TV I've been watching. Listening to them both, I really don't know who should win. I would hope Jonathan (because everyone's hoping for him too), but I feel Hady has a better variety. *ponders*

Blog surfing is kind of fun. And some people just have interesting topics everyday. It's good to check back every single day and find that they've updated. So, to all of you who think no one reads your blog, be comforted to know I check in everyday. Lolx.

I'm bored. I need to play DotA now. I can't wait for the 9pm show to come on. Ok, will blog again soon.

Revamping My Room

It's been ages since I did something like that. Spending hours just figuring what goes where, and I simply can't wait till it's completion.

Yes. I am re-decorating my room. I'm going to make it as personalised as it can get. I'm filling up the dirty walls with pictures of my life. I'm hanging up all the picture frames with my photos from younger days. I am filling my ceiling with stars. I am filling my walls with pebbles.

Goodness. I can't wait for the completion of my new room. It will be so, so nice! At least now there's something to look forward to everyday. Lolx. I am going to enjoy making my room real neat, spick and span.

Ok, it's time to go back to work.

*mumbles*

"I think the tiles should go on the top wall.. This poster over there. My jigsaw puzzle over there.. Pebbles on this wall.. Stars over that empty space.."

Back To Roses

This is going to be a really short post. Lolx.

I went to church today and brought Mark along. He felt everyone was friendly, and is very interested to come again next sunday.

Ernest woship lead! It was a great job Ernest, keep up the good work! Remember that you are blessed with this gift and that you should always multiply it for God.

Ben and Jerome had a great time making roses today. Yes, the ones I made for Phebe years back. Thankfully, I still had the skill to make those beautiful crafts, and they soon realised it wasn't as easy as I made it out to be. Lolx. It was fun teaching them what I did in the past, and knowing I still had the means to do it.

Pastor Heidi had a great message today! It wonderful to hear of people who use their experiences from their lives and teach it in a sermon! Amazing words of wisdom from Pastor Heidi today.

Ok, a short post indeed. I need my sleep. Goodness, I don't even know why I feel so lethargic. *roll eyes*

Nights people!

Pasar Malam Rocks

Oh, there's this pasar malam going on at hougang central! I get a huge excitement when it comes to these, because it's just so fun. Families gather to go down with their children to get some thrilling rides, and auction for 'horse' paintings. *roll eyes*

It's so much hype I tell you. And of course! There's my favourite food which I can only get at pasar malams. Xiang Chang!! Taiwanese sausage!! Yummy! I dig it man, it's fabulous, and I only to indulge in this like once a year? Lolx. And of course the other would be the fish keropok. Equally delicious, and sinful. Lolx.

Seeing the kids enjoying themselves with their parents is such a heartwarming sight. I remember younger days when I used to have so much fun at pasar malams and funfairs. And still at the age of 19, enjoying walking down those makeshift 'roads' made with wooden planks. It's such a joy to see people actually bidding for paintings which I, unfortunately, have no interest for. Lolx.

My illness is almost totally cured. To everyone who has been praying for me, thank you. I really appreciate the prayers alot. Only a bit is left due to my sore throat.

Down With Illness

It's almost been 9 months since I fell ill. I've been diagnosed with runny nose, fever, sore throat, gastric, and bodyache. Lolx. So many illnesses all came at once. It's kind of weird actually. But it's good, makes me realise that I actually can get sick. *roll eyes*

Today marks the 5th (yes fifth!) year that my mom is together with Gordon! Wow! How time flies. I can't believe it too. It seems only yesterday when we knew him. He's been the father I've always longed for. And my mom, needless to say, is the bestest of the best. Lolx.

Eek. Mush.

Ok! So here's wishing them both more years to come. More bitter-sweet experiences, and more bliss! I love you both deeply!

Argh. Being sick really sucks. But it's alright, I'm getting better after taking my medicine. It seems everyone is falling ill. *ponders* Maybe it's the time of the year huh? *roll eyes*

Ok, I'm going to get more rest. At least I'm off tomorrow, so it's another day of recuperation. You people beware of that nasty flu bug going around alright? Take care!

Wow!

The moon is shining brightly.

There. An update. Lolx.

Because I Promised Damian

I bet he probably went into a spasm when he saw that photo. Lolx. Well, at least he got an update.

I found out that this boy/man/guy/dude actually comes to read my blog everyday! Now that's an encouragement to blog more often! Lolx.

More photos of this weird/quirky/moody guy!

him and katherine

act only..

*roll eyes*

What is this? Some advertisement for the company? Lolx. I went to work tonight at AT (Atrium), and the people there are cool! They are a fun bunch, and they made working there such a joy. *smiles*

Time passed so fast when I was working. And guess who I saw during my break? It was Pastor Heidi and Janine! I repeat once more. Both of you better start updating your blogs, like now.

And you too, grinning boy. Start updating your blog, NOW. And I mean it. You said it's boring to read my blog without updates, so the same applies to you. *pouts*

I'm dead beat, I need my sleep. It's 3.11am in the morning and my hair is still wet. Gragh. Alright, I'm off to bed people!
