More Clothes That Fit Me

HOORAY~~!!!

I went out with mom this evening and got myself more new clothes! Trust me when I say that 99% of all my clothes in my wardrobe can't be worn anymore because they are simply to BIG on me. Lolx. The wonders (and downsides) of losing weight. Heh.

So, I got myself a new vest from Goldlion, which comes in a fabulous colour of dark blue! It's extremely comfortable and it has just the right cutting for me! The pants I got from Montagut is also just the way I like it! It's light, follows along with the movements of my legs, and feels fabulous on the skin! Also, she got for me a nice T from 4 You! It's a green and striped piece, and the fit is just nice for me!

YAY FOR MAMA CHEW!!~~

Isn't it lovely to be able to attract attention from people shopping? They must probably wonder which son still goes out shopping with his mom at the age of 21 20. Not that there is no other, just that it's really rare.

Oh, here's another interesting shocking fact. You guys will probably understand how serious I am about losing more weight when you guys read this.

Breakfast - 1 Cup of Nuts and Dried Apples - 50 calories
Lunch - 1 Banana - 100 calories
Dinner - Subway's Turkey Breast - 300 calories
Supper - 1 Banana and 1/2 Cup Milk - 150 Calories

Total: 600 Calories

Now let's say I run 3km a day, and lose 300 calories from the run.

Perfect! Lolx.

Auntie Anna don't kill me please. All in the name of.. er.. health?

DOMVS @ Sheraton Towers

Gastronomical!

That would be the word I'd use to describe last night's dinner. Well, yes we've been going to nice pizzerias and all, but last night beat all of them.

Gordon and Mom took us to a nice restaurant situated in the Sheraton Towers hotel, a huge surprise I have to say! My sister immediately had a dé-jà vu of the hotel, saying we were here before on church anniversaries. I argued that I only remembered the Marriott hotel for church anniversaries, but she quickly freshened my memory with the staircase that led down to the basement where the kids would hang out. She then pointed to the 2nd floor where there was a ballroom that the adults would be seated in. Only then did it occur to me that this was where Daniel made the 4 of us dance to a piece called 'Holy Fire'. Anybody remembered who were the 4? Lolx. Yes, I know I have really horrible memory sustenance.

And yes, I digressed.

Back to the dinner! We were dressed for the occasion (sadly, I didn't take any photos of us), and we were all set for a great Italian dinner!

After much settling down and sipping down some refreshing sparkling mineral water, we were ready to place our orders. Each of us decided on an appetizer to get us ready for our mains.

I know all of you really want to see the pictures of the glorious food that we had. Yes, I'm back into full-fledged photo blogging. Heh.

*hears shouts of joy*

We started off with a nice gesture from the chef, an amuse bouche.

light cheese mousse and black truffles
accompanied with tomato foam

That was really good! It was light, yet very tasty. The tomato foam went really well with the cheese mousse, leaving a nice aftertaste on your palate. We were now prepared for appetizers!

buffalo mozzarella cheese
ripened tomatoes
basil leaves
caprese

sicilian smoked cheese topped on endives

Lovely appetizers that whet our appetite for an even greater dish ahead! Our mains were fantastic, and nothing near what we've been having for the last few weeks. Savoring every mouthful, it was great food with a great company called family.

herbed 'rags' with baby langoustines

Superb! It was nothing I've ever had before! You always had lasagne done well, haven't you? Right now, try imagining having something very close to those lasagne sheets served on your plate as a dish, together with baby langoustines! Also known as the Dublin Bay Prawns or Scampi, these magnificent tasting creatures are better than prawns because they taste like lobsters!

tuna coated with sesame seeds seared to perfection

bucatini with fresh sardines

This pasta was new to all of us! It's a thick spaghetti-like pasta with a hole running through the center. To the layman, sardines are a poor man's food, being served mostly in cans in thick tomato sauces. BUT! The sardines in this dish were the freshest, without any hint of being fishy! An interesting dish I'll have to say, having new knowledge that sardines are priced in Italy.

We learn new things everyday don't we?

After not seeing Gordon for nearly 2 months since their return from the US, this dinner made it a pleasant meeting once again. Indeed, spending quality time together with my family has never been more important. That, as well as sitting together for a sumptuous meal, is priceless.

I'll go crazy with my camera again! So, you all can expect to see yourselves up on this blog more often! Lolx. Ah, I know all of you want that right?

*grins*

Update!

I'm back!

Haha, did anyone miss me? Lolx. I know I missed all of you!

And to that someone, here's the update! You better be updating your blog too. Lolx.

my hair is finally longer!

Life has been good. Everything has been going smoothly and I thank God for blessing each and every single day of my life. For without Him, I am nothing.

I can't believe I'm doing duty on National Day. Simply.. Great. Lolx. But well, I'm a good soldier right?

RIGHT.

Ok, off to bed for tonight. Take care everyone!
